my tranny is shifting great thankfully ... but my buddy has a 67 camaro with a ls6 4l65e in it the car has been driving finr then it will not downshift into first when coming to a stop then takes off in second the problem is intermitting some times its fine and sometimes its not doesnt matter if the tranny ids hot or cold has had it happen both ways fluid is full no ses light and with a scanner it shows a o2 code could the o2 sensor cause this ?? any help will be greatly appreciated im leanin towards a sonlenoid

 

my truck use to do that mess when it was stock. sometimes after a dead stop it would take off in 2nd then bout 5-8mph it would down shift into first, then back into second. really annoying.

I dont think an O2 sensor code would make it act like that.. but i dunno..

 

yea i dont think the o2 matters just throwing it in there thats the only code that shows up ,and if you try to manually put it in first still doesnt go in , but if you unhood k the battery and hook it back up it goes into first maybe electrical?? maybe someone has had the same prob and fixed it
