Default 4l65e revs before shifting...Help

Ok guys, I come to the masses to help me try to figure out my Denali's shifting problem. Under medium to heavy throttle, the transmission revs about 500 rpms higher during the shifts. With light throttle the problem is there, just not as bad. Transmission fluid is a little overserviced, but not extreme. No metallic stuff shinning in the fluid.

I have an extended warranty, but I fear it is not valid overseas...GUAM.

Thoughts?

Doesn't hit the limiter, it doesn't gets that high. It's only about 500 revs higher during the shifting process.

The single mod to this truck was a corvette servo from Oregon Performance. Transmission temp never goes above 200

LOL, I guess it is time to start looking for a trans. DAMN! So talk to me about the 4L80E and AWD. What all is involved with this swap and AWD. I am sure this is covered, anybody have some links to this swap?

so I think I might get this transmission...what do you guys think of the internals

1. reworked valvebody
2. 9 clutch pack (which replaces the factory 5 clutches in the 3-4 drum).
3. Raybestoes high temp energy clutches throughout the rest of the unit, along with all new steels, bushings, and rings.
4. BEAST SHELL
5. 4140 hardened pump rings
6. Teflon Pump bushing (which allows more abuse)
7. 10 vane pump rotor
8. 29 element sprag
9. Sonnax Wide Open Throttle Valve
10. Hardened input shaft and drum.
11. Kevlar band
12. Corvette servo
13. We block off the 1,2,3,4 accumulators to give you a solid and firm crisp shift, and discard the springs in the accumulator because sometimes they will break and create problems.
14. Converter included

Price is around $1400 + shipping.

Is that a mad dog unit or another company out of Florida? The build list looks familiar and also it looks like its for a 700r4! I honestly do not like to block accumulators and I'm sure your wife will hate the way it shifts!

Yes out of florida. Damn Vince you are on top of things. If funds were there, I would go with a sponsor built transmission for her, but I also have to get it shipped out here. Do you have a lead on a better than stock unit that I can get shipped to me? I do not want to ever change her transmission again. I might have to dip into the retirement fund to get a transmission for her beast. Why the Hell did GM ever put that transmission behind a 6.0 in the first place? Even the 2500's got the 4l80.
