4L80 + Drop = CUT DSHAFT?

The AV DS is one piece.

Push the DS splines all the way into the T-case and mark how far it goes in. Bolt it up to the diff. and put the truck on the ground to see how close it is to the mark. If its tight, you want to have the shaft shortened more. It should already have been shortened 3 or 4 inches when you had the 80E installed.
