Here is some hard data. I went from 3.73s to 4.10s. I picked up 1 tenth and 1 mph. Not worth the money. Go with 4.56s. The 4.10s feel more peppy on the street but facts are facts. 1 tenth quicker, 1 mph faster in the 1/4.
Oh yeah, my truck wheel hops now and I need to get a drive shaft becouse the driveshaft RPM is higher now at crusing speeds. At 100 mph I can feel it vibrating now. With the 3.73s that did not happen untill 115 mph. So to go along with your gears get some Caltracks and a for real driveshaft.

otter, without spinning and wheel hop im willing to be u gained more than a tenth. get the bugs worked out and ill bet you will be happy. i gained like 3 tenths with my gears but i was coming from 3.23s.

After I started getting faster, I wanted to gear change. I was more than out of gear at the track, I even had a set of 3.73 gears for the front of the truck before I sold it all.... Well I still have the 3.73 gear front diff....

One other huge difference is the weight of your 20 inch rims. I spent an afternoon at the American Racing warehouse with a scale and found a 20 in rim that weighed 26lbs! Most were in the 35-38 range. This removed about 50lbs of rotating mass and you know the equation that the energy required is proportional to the square of the rotating mass. Just this alone accounts for at least 0.25 sec at the track.
