Yeah, set the DTC's to first error and just un-check the SES if you don't want the engine light on. Because it's a speed density setup with no MAF sensor used anymore, the MAF channels in the main table display can go. Like Mass air flow, or MAF hz if they are in there. Logging MAF pids could skew readings when tuning.

I am rolling then stop and break torque it up some and it does stall up nicely then after it goes it shifts to second and it is almost feels like it slips because you can barely tell it shifts and that may be the converter. Then 3rd and immediatly locks the TCC and stays locked when it shifts to 4th.
I will include the tune and the log but I am going to look thru to see what makes sense on my part. I never did get on it hard but enough to get it going.
again thanks for all your input.
According to this tune you posted, none of the shift changes I gave you are present.

It shows up in mine? That is weird. You had sent me two files and i am pretty sure I used the first one. I will dig into this and see but I do see the changes in my file.
I copied them into the normal and performance sides.
They should be there?
thanks
Dave

I've been busy with work away from my desk so I will dig more in this later. I think in part I will need to get used to the converter. But it looks like it's gonna work. I'm not sure why the converter stayed locked

Thanks
Dave

I hate it when I gamble with a reply and then the smart people chime in!

A high stall messes with your head. I had a 3200rpm stall and I thought I broke my truck! lol

Haha that's true. I just need to drive it some. I got it installed and was afraid to drive it. I thought it was "slipping" I plan to drive it to work tomorrow

I thought I would update some. I finally had the chance to drive my truck this morning. All is working however it still seems to be shifting a bit early under easy "normal" driving but if I am a bit more aggressive then it will shift a bit higher. I dont really see any issues with the shifting other than it takes a bit for me to get used to the looser converter. Since this is all new and different to me I have not ran it real hard however if I do get into it some it really responds.
The issue I have is the lockup of the TC in third. under easy driving it locks up really early and will bog my truck. It is functioning but is really early. Watching the speedometer (which matches the GPS) it will lock around 20 MPH which is not long after it shifts into 3rd. LIke I said the shifting seems early but I am still learning.
As far as I know other than the full throttle shift RPM it should match what was posted on here. I dialed the full shift RPM down a bit as I work into this.
Thanks all
Dave

for those following my saga I wanted to update plus maybe help somebody else. It ended up being the setting shown in this attachment. Under the speedometer setting the one circled controls the trans. We may have known this but mine didnt update. This setting needs to be 40. That made my shift points correct. I will do some fine adjustments on it now that it is happy.

Thanks again to everybody that helped.
Dave

ps now that it is not shifting immediately into second the stall doesn't seem nearly as high or cumbersome.
