Default 4l80e to 4l60e will it work
I picked up a 4l60e and my truck has the 4l80e What do I need to do for the swap

Dam man dont mean to sound like a ******* but that would be the stupidest thing you could do..leave the 4l80 its way better than the 4l60

Whats the reasoning behind the swap? I would rebuild a 4l80 long before I put a 4l60 in its place. Most here with 4l60's are looking to switch to the 4l80.

Bought a 2000 burban 4wd with the transmission gone no gear fluid level good my buddie had a 4l60e with 30 thousand got it for free what do I need to change to make it work

That trans is too weak to go in a 6.0 suburban. Your just gonna screw over the poor guy you sell it too.
