4l80e to 4l60e will it work

Lmao. Yea alot. Too much to even switch it. Computer retuning. Repinin of wire harness. New crossmember, new driveshaft yoke. Longer driveshaft.
All for it to be blown 400 miles later. It's a reason it did not come with a 60e. But yea you can reengineer it and put 1 in there.

Wait. 2000 Suburban? It's got a Vortec 6000 in it, not a 5700. The last year that saw a 5700 was '99.
Putting a 60E in there is going to cost $$$$. Not to mention behind a 6.0 in a 3 ton 4x4 truck means it might get 500 miles...first good full throttle run and it will be near death.
If you're hell-bent on changing it, selling it and screwing a guy over then winding up in court somewhere, keep in mind that you'll be about $1600 in the hole with this truck. This is for the swap, including parts, time and labor. Expect about $500 of that to be for a tune that can accommodate a 60E.
You're looking at less than $2500, tops, for that truck if you try to sell it with a 60E.

Please don't do this. You're blessed with a beast transmission from the factory, and you want to downgrade to something barely suitable for a lightweight Corvette?
Sell 60e, rebuild 80e, Sell vehicle, and sleep at night knowing the person you sold it to isn't going to come back and take you to court or whoop you.

Our you sure it is a 2000?
Listen to everyone here, You are going to spend a lot of money only to have that trans fail before you sell it. And since you have read all of this and are still ok with screwing over the next guy, I hope that it grenades as soon as you turn the key...
