At least TELL us you searched... Even if its a lie.

You can't CONVERT one to another, but you can SWAP from one to the other. And there are no kits to swap anymore... Only ones people put together themselves.

I thought about buying the lower first gear set when I did my swap. Cost and the PCM concern stopped me. Glad it did. I'm with a couple others... I love 1st gear in mine now.

Has anyone found out more about these things? I emailed tci and all they said that would have to be done was modify the CAL file in the PCM. Maybe i am beating a dead horse but i cant give this up, i hate the 2.48 first in my 6800lb tank. Vince at FLT said that he hadnt installed one from tci, only a set from coan performance that needed some machining.
