Default 4l80e issues

Had problems from the start with a new rebuild. Had a bad 3rd and 4th gear "slip" which was a cracked piston. Also had NO reverse. Got it back after the builder tore it down and checked and double checked. Waiting on an airfilter for the turbo before i can drive it highway, but it seems to be shifting fine.

Info on trans
Hughes racing internals, hd-2 (used medium shift kit), new heavy duty sprag, all new 4th gear steels, hard internal parts are stock.

What i see happeneing

Manual shifting is a no go, feels like its binding if it goes into first manually

NO REVERSE

Transmission builders im at your mercy. What electronic things should i look at.

Also the hd-2 kit only puts 7 check ***** back in the valve body instead of 8(reverse is left out) Is this right?

Again any help is appreciated.

Drove it today to see if my oil leak went away. It did...now i have coolant on the floor...i think it was from the reservoir though no big deal.

So symptoms...there is alot but they are in no way consistent nor constant.

1.Feels like its starting in second (sometimes worse)
2.Manual shift to first or second it wont move, will spool the turbo up and load the engine but not move. (not everytime but will never engage the manual selected gear)
3. No reverse, but randomly when i drove it the 3 miles to my house to get my laptop i put it in reverse and it worked...but never again after.

I used efi live to check the solenoids i could hear them all buzzing when i turned them on.

anyone have any ideas.

All brand new stuff, and yes i adjusted it.

Tomorrow i am going to go over everything i did for the swap. Then go over everything else electronic wise, then pull the pan and valve body to double check all check ***** and well everything else i can.

Almost sounds like cross-leaks in the valve body

My big WTF moment so far was when i got it in first and the truck just sat there and loaded up...i put it in D and hoped for the best. My luck the 5-10 miles i have put on it trying to get the turbo stuff checked out, i probably fried something clutch wise.

I hate transmissions.

How old is the Transgo kit? Does it have the sandwich plate between the valve body and case?

If you leave it in OD, it shifts through all the gears ok?

Can you shift it with EFI Live? while leaving it in "D"
