I am out of town for a few days. I'm not sure what year the kit was. I'm going to tear it down and reinstall the valve body components myself and see if the builder missed a step.

After that if its a no go its going to a local shop.

Does have the separator plate. Looking at everything (i dont have a copy of the paper instructions) but using their online video as a reference not everything that is supposed to be done to the transmission is done. So 1 im pissed and 2 i think im going to just order another hd-2 kit and do it all myself.

I notice right away the reverse servo doesnt have the orange spring is supposed to have.

Next the hole that is supposed to be drilled for the pressure relief isnt drilled in the side of the valvebody wall like it should be but there is a hole through the bottom.

Idk what to do really. Im going to call and see if the original builder has all the extra parts left over (with the stock stuff) and get a full list of what he has done so i can try and correct it or atleast start with everything stock and see if its even shift kit related.

Only plus about this weekend is the turbo kit is done 100%

also built408, leaving it in od it did shift right about 2 cycles through after that it was 4th only. Manually shifting 1 locked up, 2 locked up, 3 SLOW SLOW doing (slipping),4th would slowly go but pulled better then 3rd. No reverse usually but 1 time worked perfect.

Also from what it looks like is the kit itself did not come with a trans plate it looks like its factory (just judging by the wear and tear on it.
