4l80e problems after converter swap

Why would it balloon? Isn't a converter always full of fluid?

Too much power can make the converter balloon and break the pump or push the crank and eat up the thrust bearings

No problem man...


I change all the solenoid today, and everything is working normal, but 2nd is still acting up. Need to put everything in tune back like it was and see what happens

Most common clutch pack to burn, actually.

Guess if I can't make it shift to 2nd I'll pull it. Stock rebuild with upgrades? 700 at the wheels max..

Bump. Changed all the clutches and seals and still no 2nd. Anyone care to help me out. Shifts from 1st to 3rd scanner shows 2nd but no upshift.

Intermediate sprag is all I can think of.
