Great thread. I was wondering if you could give a brief list of tools/parts required. I was looking into Jake's Stage II parts kit for the parts required...

I see you used a trans holding fixture, man those are $$$$
GM Transmission Holding Fixture w Adapter for 4L80E J 8763 B T 0156 B T 2901 | eBay
I also saw a dial indicator, I'd have to borrow one of those from a friend.
Beyond that, is it normal tools? Snap ring pliers, puller, 'drum line up tool' (clamps), sockets, torque wrench, feeler gauges, compressor to check function.
Anything else?
