Default 4L80e ?'s

I did the 60e to 80e swap and the segment swap thru efi live (tuner did that part).

In the tune my line pressures are normal/low but I'm getting really really hard shift 1-2,2-3,3-4. is there something I can look at to maybe fix this or tone them down that is not thru the tune? I took and swapped the pins in 22 and 23 in the pcm and nothing changed. I read it could make it shift hard in 1,2 shift.

I'm also now getting a low coolant level flashing across the read on the dash that has never been there before, could this be something to do with me by passing the radiator with the trans line and going straight to the tru cool?

any suggestions would be great.

If it's shifting really hard then your probably staying a full line pressure all the time, a pressure gauge would verify this, if you modify the harness correctly then must be in the tuning. I personally like to have a pressure gauge on the trans when we tune them to make sure all is in order.

It has 35 inch tall tires 4.88 gears and at a roll it will chirp the tires it shift so hard.

So more than likely its in the tune. It shifts like it should when it should ( just really hard) and the converter locks. seems to work right other than the hard shifts.

I'll see if I can get the tune emailed to me. I'm not sure if it will work as I don't have the efi live program on my computer to support the file.

As mentioned, your mail order tune will need some tweaking. Ever truck is different and there is no way to nail it exactly for each customer.

If your coolant wasn't full, that would cause the light to go on. Check your coolant level when the light goes on. If it's full, smack the bottle a few times as the sensor may be stuck. If your coolant bottle is really dirty inside, it may need to be replaced along with the sensor.

This has nothing to do with the transmission lines being bypassed unless the radiator is leaking through the fittings.
