The original thought was to use the 4l60 segment to run the 4l80 once we figure out that we could not simply have hp tuners do the segment swap for us. However the outside tuner said he could swap to the 4l80 segment with little trouble. So in theory his computer does have a 4l80 segment on his old 2 bar OS. Hence forth the confusion on what exactly is going on with the tranny. Maybe something is wrong with segment swap itself?

The truck has the speartech adapter harness for the 4l80. I even called them to see what they thought might be the issue. They seemed to be at a loss as well.
