Default 4L80E stall

Hey guys,
My set up is a 98 chevy rcsb truck, with a lq9 and 80e conversion. That 80e really does kill my take off, my 8th mile times are terrible. I also have a 14 both rear end with posi and 4:10 gears which helped me out SOME. My fastest 1/8th ET so far is 9.4260. 60ft is 2.3302, and 330 ft is 6.2598. my MPH was 78.03.
I Know my 80e tranny has a 11 inch converter which kills my take off. I was looking at the VIG 9.5 inch stall. it cost around $750 bux though... I am probably going to go with a 3k stall and also slap a cam in a 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa cam in it when i change the stall. I have talked with a few other people who use the vig 9.5 an they tell them it helped them out a lot. Anyone on here use it or another converter?? I am trying to look at all my options before i spend that kind of money haha.

I cant get any better than a 2.32 60' with my stock converter...
So instead of getting a stall that i cant really tow alot with and kill gas mileage. I peiced together a Wet Shot through a Throttle body spacer and i went from a 7.9@71 2.3 60' at the 500' track to a 7.0@79 2.0 60' on a 50 shot but thats with the STS also..

Just something to think about..

I have been thinking about spraying, but the only thing I hate about spray is that the bottle runs OUT haha.

I agree. The reliability of the stock converter is enough to make me think twice before trying anything else.

Yea this stuff is not CHEAP haha. How is the dmax doing??

Im gunna get a 3k stall, if that helps me out a lot with my bottom end, and doesn't kill my mpg to bad ill keep it. if not ill sell the 80e and build a 60e.
