Default 4l80e sun gear/shaft orientation help please

How should the oiling holes of the shaft be oriented in relation to the grooves and oiling holes of the sun gear?

Yes indeedy! I have an old one

Do the oil holes in the shaft need to line up with the grooves inside the sun gear?

Found it! Lube hole in shaft lines up with lube hole on sun gear.

I'm not an expert but I don't see it making a difference as the oil is going to fill and pressurize the entire circumferential groove.

Yeah, thats a good point. My ATSG manual makes no points on orientation either. I think I watched this video long ago and it stuck in my mind to watch orientation on my build.

I agree with those who say it doesn't matter.
