4l80e swap Do I install the flywheel spacer?
I'm getting back on track to finish the 4l80 install in the next week or so. When buying all the parts for the swap, I got a circle d converter in the 3 bolt pattern to fit my stock flywheel. Was I supposed to still use the flywheel spacer for the swap? If so, How much longer are the bolts? I'll need to get them asap. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm going to say no if you told Chris what you were doing when you ordered your converter. In most cases the converter guys will build a converter for you that has the longer pilot so the spacer will not be needed. Check with Chris on this one. Good luck with the swap. Vince

If we built you a 3 Lug version, it should be the LS bolt pattern. The pilot on the converter should say LS. Which means it is designed to fit a factory dished style flexplate. No spacers or adapters. But make sure to check converter clearance, that might need to be adjusted. Looking for 1/8" clearance, any more you will need to add shims.
