Default 4l80e swap second connector?

I'm doing a 4L80E swap and got the speartech harness. I didn't even notice until after I mounted the transmission that the second connector has nothing to plug into. There is the main data connector and the two smaller ones. I'm referring to the rear small one. The front sensor plugged in but what does the rear one do?

The 4L80E has two speed sensors. Speartech sells a harness for the second one that runs up and has two (or three, can't remember) pins that you have to put into the PCM connector.

Red goes to Red 22, Blue goes to Red 23.

My point is there is no sensor there. At the back of the trasnmission there is just a plug, and I have the connector dangling there. Do some 4L80E's not have a second speed sensor?

I have heard of some just having a plug. The trans is for a 4 wheel drive right? (I hope) You just need to plug it in the front sensor.

I think what you are asking is where does the rear speed sensor connector go to since there isn't one on the trans....if you are 4wd, it's on yur Tcase. Front sensor is on trans, use the Tcase speed sensor as the rear.

You'll find the other speed sensor on the t-case..on the rear output near the top I believe

Just curious, what is the second one for? If you have a place to plug in all three (two on tranny, one on t-case), does it matter which two you use?

YES! Plug into the rear sensor of the 80e and you'll get all kinds of driveablility issues, if you plug into the rear with the front clip. The T-case, if you go 4wd low you just changed the ratio of the output. If the rear sensor of the 80 is what you are using then the pcm doesn't see the ratio change for 4wd low. Simplest answer. Apparently on the 4wd's they're other things going on that the pcm wants to see the speed sensor in the t-case, . But that's how I see it, no matter if you are 2wd or 4wd you want a speed sensor on the "input" and one on the "output" of any gearing changes.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check it out when I get home. I remember that there was one more connector on the wiring than there was a plug to connect it to, but I don't remember what I plugged where. I haven't been in 4LO since the tranny swap, so that may be why nothing has seemed wrong yet.
