This would be new news to me if this is your guys issue. I would however make sure that the resistance for the wiring from the trans plug to the computer is good and also that the terminals are not corroded in any way. Vince
My temp is always within 10 degrees (or less) of my transmission temp gauge (autometer in the pan) with a 60E tune.

I'm wondering if it is the cluster. I've heard of several speedo issues that were similar, because the actual stepper motor on the gauge was malfunctioning.

Well I ran the cluster out of my HD in my other truck today & it worked perfect. Temp range stayed the same between the two. I've got a spare PCM to try if it boils down to that.

If someone had a Config file I could try that will read trans temp with hp tuners I could check that with the gauge.

Everytime I try it comes up with unsupported

Did it do it before the tune?

Maybe they changed the resistance on newer ones and aftermarket tuning doesnt notice it which results in different reading.

i still havent took it on a long drive to check what the temp will climb to. but i still dont understand why the cooler is not warming up.

i got it friday evening & had it tuned friday night, and drove to west texas saturday.. so i cant say if it didnt do it before the tune. i guess i could go upload the stock tune & see what it will do.

I was thinking the same thing the other night. However IIRC Celsius is ruffly half of Fahrenheit. I dont think that is the issue.

Ohhh.

So the pressure switch.

It really has nothing to do with temp? Or it reading wrong?

And what did you change? Main way to tell if you fixed it is if the temp starts dead cold and not at 105 u know.

No, the Pressure Manifold Switch ONLY tells the PCM which gear the shifter is in (not for the dash indicator, for the PCM). The temp sensor is part of the harness.
