Default 4L80E torque converter identification needed

Got my 80E yesturday. 350 bucks in good used condition from a 96 diesel. The plan is just put a shift kit in it and run with it for the time being since money is somewhat tight and a heavy duty high stall and rebuild isn't really necessary at this point. I'm worried that because its from a diesel the converter may be a very low stall, I read anywhere from 1100 to 1800. I believe its a stock Delco converter and have found two sets of numbers, K150K3 which is stamped into the outer rim of the converter and 24202989 which is on a sticker near the hub which I assume is the part number. I've found a handful of sites that identify 700R4, 60E, T350 and 400 trans converters but nothing specifically for 80E converters. Any ideas where I can find out what the heck I've got to work with?
