What would be a fair price for a very low mile 05 4WD tans?

Good used I'd say 700-800. That transmission in the form of a GM reman is upwards of 2 grand or more.

Don't have one. Shopping. Used ones without a ton of miles are hard to find. Then couple that with 4wd and you get an ache in the billfold.

Why year '05 specific though? Is there differences between the 4L80e's to be concerned with for swapping?

As far as I know mid 90's up will work so long as they are for an LSx engine. I've read there are some better parts from 03 on. I just offered 950 for an 05.

i just got an 80 from a junk yard in peoria ill. 03 4x4 for 650 shipped

not sure what ya consider a ton off miles but this one has 100,000

As far as I know the 4l80E's built after March 2001 are the choice pieces... for the latest upgrades.

I'm still on the road. The stock 65e with shift kit is actually doing well. (knock on wood). I'm tired of playing the game of Russian roulette.
