4TH gear billet servo
Is this worth doing? I've already got the vette servo & a blackbear tune where the line pressure was increased. If it is worth doing, will I need to have the line pressure reduced?

Yes and probably. Billet OD servo has more holding pressure so less clutch slip and wear. You don't even need to pull the servo pin out, just pop the cover off, pull the 3rd gear servo out, and replace with the new cover. Snap ring is the hardest thing about the swap, but even that isn't hard, just takes patience.

No such thing as a 3rd gear servo! The idea here is the added fluid surface area. For the band the two circuits located in the side of the housing are 2nd and 4th gear. The one in question here is the 4th gear servo. If you are going to be towing or doing WOT runs into 4th gear then yes a billet 4th servo is a good idea. Vince
