The transfer case will be fine if you treat it well...if you are talking about me, the transfer case is basically the only thing stock about my drivetrain (if you dont count the input shaft change for the 80e)

408 iron block forged and ready for a f1a procharger.... i want to be set up and ready for the bolted on power fo the supercharger..so what you are saying is that the 80E will directly bolt up to the bell housing but will be too long for the driveshaft?? waht will have to me modified for me to use a 80e.. what transmission company do you suggest... i am still pretty new to this and would like to use a company that has had great success with others on this fourm..

wow that is some crazy information.. almost depressing how much work is needed to bolt up a 80E. is there a company that you can just buy a heavy duty tanny from that will just bolt up and go.. all conversion already done?

Its not hard at all to do.. just mod your trans cross member and get the driveshafts shortened/lengthened..

Sweet!!!
Its not hard.. just unhook all the electrical and double check and make sure everything is undone. dont wanna break any wires.

i vote 1 day.. maybe 1 week. depends on how rough you are with it.

Its not the HP that kills them.. its the weight and hp together.
