tim, thanks man i appreciate it but im an idiot lol i just dont understand why i asked that question when i knew it wouldnt drop my cv angle lol...guess i wasnt thinkin too clearly. andy thanks also man i appreciate the help! and ill def keep that in mind, but one thing i do ask...def lemme know how much of a difference that TBSS intake mani makes on your truck...i just picked one up off my buddy but dont have the funds to install her, not to mention i wanna do the cam, stall, n intake all at once...but as for that thread, those straps are sick! due to my really limited funds, i think thosell have to wait till next year or until i have money, i do wanna do the chain and since my buddy has a whole bunch of it at his place, i dont gotta spend a dime lol. n justin just curious but why cant you use that style? strap not long enough for the lift i take it??

I have limit straps on my Sierra. (Also have a brand new set of DJ Safety 17" straps for sale in my classified ad, no clevises though, but those can be had separately easily).
I also HIGHLY recommend the Cognito pitman & idler support brackets. It will help keep your drag link in place instead of moving around and playing games with your toe angles! Even with worn out pitman and idler arms! The double shear connection helps the pivot points to remain solid.
I posted a bunch of photos of it in the "How to lower your 4X4" thread stickied somewhere here...
I just installed them on my lowered Silvy, and have had them for a couple years now on my lifted Sierra.
knock on wood, been doing lots of hard 4-high launches in my Silverado, lowered 4.5" up front, and all good so far!!! I'm thinking the weight transfer and lifting the front a bit helps straighten out the CV's. ... so I'm not going to strap this one yet. Absolutely NO wheel hop either. I can imagine if you do this too much if you had massive wheel hop issues it would like to break tranny's or something...
