4wd Tahoe driveshaft max rpms?

your stock u-joints are n3r series the neapco part number is 3-3011. they are bascialliy a 1330 series with a bigger cap and inside snap rings. like parish said his was fine, it was probably shortern a little do to tranny change. just make sure you trust the driveline guy

i dont know about the drive shaft because at 120mph when it flies off you cant find it at night on the highway but i do know the brute force u joints stay in tac cause thats all i had left , last night the rear yoke broke and the front yoke stayed on the truck with the brute force u joint all in one peice heres a picture of a s/c tahoe 6.0 rear yoke at 120 mph at about 5000 plus i bent my exhaust, i measured up and went to a local drive shaft shop and he said to put in some spicer yokes 1350 u joints and very heavy duty drive shaft pics comming monday of my new set up and i guess a rear end is in my near future im thinking of a detriot locker. hope this helps you could learn from my mistakesrpm

That sucks dude. Glad the truck is still in one piece. Is the Tahoe 4wd? I am going to look into spicer yokes and u joints.

yes the truck is a 4x4 the new shaft will be ready monday it also will be high speed balanced the truck only took a hit on my 1 week old 3 inch custom dual exhaust dented the muffler a bit but it will be okay but it bent one pipe that i will have to replace about 2 foot section not bad i guess i have seen guys taken out their gas tanks to i guess **** happens i plan on putting a custom drive shaft loop aswell.
