Testes is what I live for.
Let me know what other features this thing needs so I can get them tested before making a PCB for it. I figured a front axle disconnect was a no brainer. Three6gmc aka #nobudgetpena also mentioned a speed lockout for N and 4 low.
While I can make the transfer case work easily enough, getting the Escalade to not complain about it will still be on you.

But either way lmk when these are available
In regards to the CAD, would I be correct in thinking not applicable to Escalade as the front diff is open?

Every 4x4 GM half-ton in the history of ever has an open front diff
While it is a free country and you are free to spend your money how you'd like, CAD does prevent wear on the diff/spiders. Allegedly helps MPG too, and that's why we are here, right?
That said, Dodge and Jeep had about a 15yr period there where all the 4x4s they built didn't have CAD and no one seemed to complain that I remember
If you can find a CAD housing with the proper ratio and similar miles and condition I'd consider swapping. If you can't, and therefore don't swap: I don't think anything atrocious will befall you and your truck

Leaning towards the NP263hd or maybe it’s the 261, whichever one is electronic.
will your system work on these too?

The "3" at the end of the transfer case identifier signifies electronic actuation. And yes I believe they are the same (the encoder I have available to test with is from a 243) - if not, the encoding is simple enough to adjust for. However I do not have a transfer case to test the actuation on, so we'd have to figure out how to get it properly tested. Usually I bother my sugar daddy Atomic for that stuff.
