Default 5 lug adapters??

I noticed a few people have them, and i have to ask, how strong are they? can you drag race on them?, and does this throw off the offset on your wheels??

I always thought the people on here that were running 5 lug didn't use an adapter. I thought they had all filled and drilled a 5 lug pattern.

Who's running the Adapters?

Of course it "throws off" the offset of the wheels...it's nothing more than a spacer at least 1.25" thick so naturally your tires and wheels will stick out that much farther.

As for their strength, I'd only recommend billet aluminum.

There is no answer to how strong are they. I drive my truck everyday on the street and race it on the weekends. I have done 7.8s at the 1/8th and up to 120 mph with no problems. I cant tell you that I recomend them, this is just what I do in my truck.

I wouldn't run adapters on anything, but if you want 5 lugs here you go.

You can just order new rear axles to correct the 6 lug problem, and many places can re-drill your drums to match.

As far as the front disk I never had mine apart so I am guessing a bit here here.

The front hubs may be a bit thick to get a 5 on 4.75 bolt circle drilled in to them, but a 5 on 5 maybe a bit easier. Either way you'll need to fill in the 6 holes and any stress risers so you 5 lugs will seat correctly.

well that wont really work for me since my truck is a chevy colorado and i dont wanna redrill anything. I just hoping for a way to get some cheap(er) drag wheels for this thing while be able to retain the stock wheel setup
