APM... measure the distance b/t the inner sides of the fram rails. There was an article that had information about Chevy & Jeep vehicles that LS-based motors can fit, and gave a distance requirement between the framerails. I'll have to see if I can locate that article.

guys anybody with info on this. I think it woudl be a fairly straightforward swap with the 6.0 accessories, the only thing I don't know about is what you have to do with the silverado harness to get it to work with the blazer cluster?

Sounds like you're trying to find a DIY "manual" for your type of swap. Don't know if there is one. Try searching S10V8, S10forum, etc. An easy Google Search even brought up this... Click Here.

You mean something like this?
It's much easier to just ditch the harness on the motor and go with one from a supplier on the s10 forums who custom builds plug and play conversion harnesses.
Truck accessories can be made to work in an S10 Blazer but F-body accessories will not work without significant modification
