yeah well I know alot about it but until someone actually does it we will see. Hey it should be a pretty basic swap if you run a big CI swap like a 418 ls2 and when they get a stand alone computer. shouldn't that take care of alot of the problems considering it's coming on the 6.2 liter ls2 engine base in the Denali's?

The 6.2 is not LS2 based first of all, second a stroker with a 4.XX first gear adn even a low stall speed converter AND 4wd is going to be good for nothing but a 4wd drift. With my 60e and a pig rich tune on my 418 in 4hi I could spin all four at will, even from a 10 punch on the right surface. I wouldnt want that low first gear for a stroker application, Im going to an 80e to help knock some the nutts off my motor down low. All of what I described was on a Lunati 237/242 112 and Im going to a custom 246/246 112 to help move the powerband up a bit also. In theory the 6l80e sounds good but once you do some research its not really a good choice for a high hp application. Where I think this thing would shine is in an N/A 5.3 setup or pretty much anything under the 450rwhp level, not ot mention some of the reviews this thing has gotten and how much it is going to cost ot run over an 80e. You can do a stock 80e swap for about 1500, a stock 6l80e swap wouldnt surprise me if it ran you atleast 4K due to the trans being higher and needing a stand alone controller along with a tc and all the adapter harnesses, driveshafts etc. If you are planning for a pretty decent setup(500+hp) I would go with the tried and true 4l80e, ESPECIALLY if you are 2wd, since all that low gear is going to do is make your tires go up in smoke faster.
