60ft times with new gear?

Default 60ft times with new gear?

What would be the improvement in 60ft times going from a 3:23 rearend to a 3:73? any ideas? Thanks

LOL, I think Colby 04 meant what are your 60 ft. times now. Yeah, it's difficult to determine what your times could be if we don't know what they are now.

Don't know...Haven't had this truck to the track yet...hadn't had the time...just wondering what other people noticed in theres; going from one gear to another; or a speculation what it MIGHT be...? Thanks..Thats my bad! - -Times....not gear dumbass! (What I said to myself!)

I'm curious of this as well. I would think only a slight improvement possibly .1 at best, not sure tho......

I have been told its not a huge improvement with the 3.23 to 3.73 swap. Thats why most here suggest going with a 4.10 when doing the swap.... I have mulled over this descision for some time now and can't seem to convince myself on a 4.10 just because of the freaking sky rocketing gas prices. Either way I know the 3.73 would help just probably not a drastic improvement....

I think the change from 3.42 to 3.73 is only a 10% difference in ratio but i feel the difference from a standing start.
If I was to do it again...I might go for the 4.10's but the 3.42's definately are too tall for these trucks!
