Default 6L80 in 05?

How do I get a 6l80 in a 05 Z71 and how shall I shift it once I get it in there???

Well you have to swap to a Gen IV motor. Or add the Gen IV ECM and 58x crank trigger to your Gen III motor, to get it to even work.

Speartech did this and ran a LS2 and 6l80 in a GMT800 truck.

Yeahhhhhh...you're looking at like $5k min to do that trans swap.

The parts are virtually designed for the 24x conversion. But no one has yet to step up to commit to the swap.
