Default 6L80 Durability

Just trying to get a feel for the limits of a 6L80. How much power are you pushing through your 6L80 and for how long? Anyone out there with an upgraded 6L80 to hold more power?

I dont have a 6l80e but IIRC on another site someone mentioned around 500-650hp they start getting weaker.

I read somewhere about a guy that has a tubro Escalade with the 6l80 and he went thru a few trannys(seems like he was in the 550-600hp range), and at the time they didnt have any hardened parts for it so he couldnt upgrade. I loose all conception of time sometimes so this could have been early last year when i read the posts.

oh, I should have read ur sig. Single cab/AWD sure sounds like a nice platform for some fast times, ur motor factory L92? Tons of HD tranny cooler on the market, I wonder if the fan supported coolers are worth a damn?

What kind of CAM are you running?
