Default 6L80e into 03 NBS SSS

Has there been any progress with a swap like this? I know a while back people were having computer issues, has anyone figured out how to make this a DIY type of thing?

Why the problems? What is the hangup? PCM compatability or something like that?

the items listed above are a result of non compliance. The 6l80 has all internal comp controlled system, while the 4l60 has external shifter mech. he piggy'd the factory pcm to retian the guages.

go to his site and read up on it. he explaines it well

Google speartec

I know of somebody on here who put a 6l80e in 00 RC w/ L92 and under less than optimal, went high 12's. He may've gone faster by now, I haven't contacted him lately. Point being, not how fast (but it's nice), but it can be done.

Speartec has done it. Another co. was workin on it, but every time I checked, it was still in devp.

Has any one looked into this with a 4x4 or awd truck. Or does that add a whole new level of complexity with the front end drive terrain geometry.

Has anyone ever tried the TCI 4l80 6-speed? It looks good on paper, and would probily be easier to wire in.
