i would love to see them put in a shift kit in a 6l80. to my knowledge the 6l didn't have a valve body and relied on solenoids to control it all.

I am more of a converter expert, but that list of parts sounds more like a 4L60 type build than a 6L80. Which they may have given you a generic type price list. But there is no shift kit, billet rotor...so it does sound very strange. I am sure Circle D Trans would be more than capable of helping, but I can understand the issues with the downtime. Like mentioned above, you can always buy a new one from GM to ship. I would also love to build you a custom converter, that is my specialty. Good luck and if you need anything let us know....
