Who has had success with "built" 6l80e transmission? I'm trying to either find and price out parts to rebuild it or have someone do it. I'd prefer to have a local shop instead of shipping my trans across the US and back. Anyone have any suggestions of places in PA or MD area or have any suggestions as far as parts that are weak points. I'm planning on having 600 - 650 to the wheels. Thanks guys. Will the stock hold up for any length of time?

 

Circle D transmission for a built unit hands down! These guys know these trans and they stand behind the build! Your local shop will not be able to build these right. Trust me I tried to do mine local. Stock they will hold 650ish+ hp with a good tune. Tune is everything with these transmissions.
