most of the parts available for a 8.8 you can also get for a 8.5. i built the stock one from my 95 rcsb with all good moser parts, big ford 9 ends, wilwood brakes, 33 spline axles, spool, girdle, etc. i beat on it pretty hard with a t400/brake, drag radials and high compression BBC
