Got after mine today...lucky day for me.. my pan was clean no abnormal clutch debris. I changed out the filter and put a quart of lucas trans oil in the pan and i filled her up restaway. she is good to go now! filter musta been clogged after the old verter burned up.. no more issues finally!!!

interesting. been 6 months since i have my 4l80 and suddenly fluid was dirty, had some minor metallic particles and had to change out. had no shifting issues before or after but considering changing fluid more often. had been getting on it though...lol...
