swap went great but the trans seems to be stuck in 3rd or something. reverse works good and i can manually shift into all gears but it dont like it. no check engine lights are on and i got a segment swap from blackbear. any help is good help !!!! thanks

adapter harness plugged in? That was my issue when the same thing happened to me.

what one is that? is that the harness that goes to the pcm with the 2 pins?

The trans is in limp mode. Most likely, something is not right in the wiring. There is a second speed sensor that need wired to the PCM AND you either need a harness adapter for the plug going into the trans or a couple wires swapped and one eliminated in the factory trans plug.

I am going to be putting a 4L80E in place of my 4L60E in my 2000 GMC 4x4 5.3L. Would it be possible for you to point me in the right direction as for as doing the mods on the factory wiring harness and the changes to the transfer case ? Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thanx

They moved the stickys so you really have to look hard for them..
