Im looking for a set of 90/10 front shocks for my truck but I cant seem to get much info on whats good, I cant find much useful info at all on suspension setups for these trucks. I have a set of v6 front springs im going to put in and I want to throw in some 90/10s aswell so I wondering whats good and wont brake the bank? Also were to buy them I not finding much.

I had some on my truck a few years back with v6 springs. They were summit brand. Ill see if i can dig up the part number. I remember they were adjustable, 30/70 20/80 and 10/90

I was going to buy some Qa1 TR502 front shocks, but they were not availible until the end of the month. They are longer than our front shocks, but I am stock up front so I want a longer than stock shock.

Maybe a lil off topic but wat is the shock length up front on our trucks? Im in need of some 90/10s as well and was thinkin about gettin the summit adjustables

Sum g7600 are the ones I used on mine. You must run a drop spring with these or cut factory springs. Also you have to use larger washers at the dog bone bolts.

i used the lakewood 90/10s before, theyre junk if you ask me, sorry i ended up breaking one and the ride was terrible and didnt help on launching the truck, i just cut my v6 springs to the height i wanted and got some cheap shocks from the parts store, they work a hellva lot better

Ok, well I guess this is why I asked, trying to find someone who has installed a set and really noticed a difference, right now I just have the stock ones that are pretty much shot, the front end lifts good but it seems like it dont stay up, comes up quick and falls back down. So I need new ones just dont know what to get.

I'm using Competition Engineering 3 way adjustables. They can be 90/10, 75/25, or 60/40. They aren't to bad priced at $65 a piece.
