'99-'00 Lq4+700r4?

Will a '99-'00 LQ4 bolt up to a 700R4? This is a thirdgen F-Body application, but the drivetrain is similar...and you guys are a lot nicer than F-Body guys

I think they might physically bolt together but you wouldn't want to. The bellhousing's are different as are the torque converters and input shafts.
