99-06 gm full size v6 and v8 springs
is there a difference. i got djm 4 inch lower control arms and when i swapped out from a v6 to 6.0, it just went down alot lower i think. wondering if springs have different spring rates??? i know the 6.0 is heavier which would cause it to go down some but didnt think it would be this much like 1.5 inches. anyone have similar issue and if so, how did you fix to level back out??? thanx guys.....

they have a lot of different spring rates for all the different trucks. they are different for v6, v8, big block, diesel, rcsb, rclb, ecsb, eclb, ccsb, tahoe, suburban. etc. as you can see the springs are specialized for each application. thats why when you order drop springs, they ask so many questions bout what they are for. just swap your front springs out for some from a v8 model like yours and you will get back your height

sorry was referring to the older body style tahoe when i was writing, but even in torsion bars there is a difference. the tahoes have a different bar than avalanches and hd trucks. the point i was making is that each spring has a particular rate tailored to a particular application.
