If it is one of these then I dont think my brackets will work: 99 – 06 4WD Silverado (not crew) Kits | DJM Suspension | DJM Suspension

however I would still like a pic of yours...not sure how close that shock mount is to the cv....you may have room to work with.

I put the truck down on the coilovers for the first time with the engine and trans in it...it sits a little lower than I would like actually. Right now I have a 6" 1000lb spring with no preload. I plan on swapping my 7" 1000lb springs on and loading them about half an inch to put it back in the middle of the shocks range. If I need to I might have to go to some 1200lb springs, but the 1000s seemed like a good starting point. I can bottom them out jumping on the bumper which is why I need to raise the front some....or I could try that stud conversion mount I posted about...The rear is still on jack stands which makes the pic somewhat deceiving.

Is that a good way to drop these trucks? How would geometry be after that. It would be cheaper and a better ride than all the other ways.

I ended up putting in the 7" spring and giving it about an inch of preload for it to sit level. I am right in the middle of the shock travel.

32 in the front and 32.5 in the back...275/50/17 tires. 2in shackle in the rear, but my spring perches are higher so its maybe a 1" drop.
