Default ABS trouble codes on 99.

Guys, this is on my buddy's 99 truck that he just bought. I figured it's the ABS module, since they are known to get stuck on most of the 99's. However, the fuse was plugged in, and I couldn't hear it running. Anyone know what we should check? See attachment for the many codes. Thanks.

The current code is for the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module...I believe) relay circuit, with a bunch of history codes, which means that the puter picked up on some faults at one time but they're not coding now. I'm not sure if there's separate relays for that circuit, or if they're internal in the EBCM, but that's the circuit I'd be checking first. Unfortunately I don't have access to my service manual (it's packed away with a bunch of other stuff from when we moved), or I'd post up a schematic of that circuit for you. I guess you could look in the fuse box under the hood and see if there's an ABS or EBCM relay, and try swapping it with a known good relay and see if the code will clear. Also visually inspect the wiring to the EBCM and relay(s) (if so equipped), and make sure that there isn't any broken or corroded wires or connectors. If the relays are actually transistors in the EBCM and not separate, the EBCM is more than likely at fault.

If you send the module to that modulemaster guy (he can be found on ebay or through a google search), he can refurbish your module for about $150ish I believe, as opposed to buying a new one from the dealer for anywhere from $800 to $1200.
