I think that because there is no load or even weight on your wheels, it might change the bias in the controller, I don't know. A good way to test them would be on the brake test station at the truck inspection place. But you said it looks like the brakes aren't wearing, so that is proof enough. Mine wear almost as fast as the fronts.

I wouldn't think that EFILive or HPTuners would have the capability to make changes to the ABS system since they are engine/drivetrain control softwares and the ABS is controlled by the EBCM, but I'm not familiar enough with either software to know for sure.
