Default adjusting belltech torsion bar keys

I didnt put the kit on but now that Ive taken off the side step bars, the front looks almost higher than the back. I have 3" drop springs in the back and 2"keys up front. How much can I loosen them to bring the front end down?? Can I turn the screws until the key rests against the crossmember or is there a minimun amount of space needed???? Thanks

I owuld loosent hem till the keys are almost all the way down you will need to get your front end aligned though. Atleast I would.

Cool

My stock keys used to sit on the stops but I don't think you can do that with the 2" lowering keys. I think you need to keep some preload on the keys so they are not loose at full droop. My truck is lowered 5" on the rear and it sits level with the front and all I have is McGaughys 2" lowering keys up front so I am sure you can lower your front on the keys enough to level it out and maybe then some. Just make sure your keys have some preload on the bars at full droop.
