Advice on 3.42 to 3.73 axle swap

​​​​​​ My truck with a 4l80 and 3.73 gears runs 2000 rpm at 65 mph. That's where I set my cruise because it seems to lose about 1 mpg just cruising at 70 mph. I rented some 2022 Yukon monstrosity with I think the 10 speed transmission. It cruised at about 1500 rpm at 70 mph.
That makes me want to get a Gear Vendors overdrive.

Seems like it's as much about aero drag, as it is about engine RpM.

The 80 has a higher O/D ratio than the 60, to help with doing trucks things.

I've got mine dropped on stock 17s living the easy life
