Default After front end alignement, my 2" drop is almost gone

Ok. I did a 2/2 drop of the SS using Belltech spindles up front and shackles in the rear. I got the front end aligment after the drop and they said the camber/toes was out opretty bad. But now the front end drop is almost gone..WTF. The driver side is 1/2 inch higher(than before the alignment) and the passenger side is almost stock height. I went with the spindles because I thought I would retain stock driving feel but be 2" lower. did I just waste my money? I'll have to post some pics when I get home but I'm nto too happy that I spent $400+ for all the parts and drop is now almost gone.

get photos of this. i understand that replacing the spindle will throw the alignment off, but since the drop spindles relocate the components 2" higher, i dont see how you cannot acheive the drop...

Where did you get the said spindles? Did they actually say Belltech on them? Any part numbers on them? It almost sounds like you put in a stock set of spindles. There's no way your truck was that out of alignment before, where 2" spindles would lift it when properly aligned.

Someone suggested the people doing the front end aligment may have set the truck to stock height before doing the aligment. I'm going to check on that this weekend. I'd bet a $100 this is what happened. I got the Belltech 2" drop spindles from summitracing.com. I took them out of the box before the install, plus I checked out the front after the install. It was sweet after the drop but now it's I was talking to the manager of the shop about the SS before the aligment so it's possible he didn't put down the 2" drop on his paper work.
