After front end alignement, my 2" drop is almost gone

so you think the alignment shop took out your drop spindles and put in stock ones? because that's the only way i can think of them setting it back to stock height. someone will correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the alignment only have to do with camber/caster, toe in/out? i don't see adjusting the camber and all that causing the truck to raise up 2"...

EDIT: your truck is an SS. they have torsion bar front ends. did you have the torsion bars decranked, then put spindles on? maybe the shop cranked them back to "stock", therefore landing you with the same drop you had before the spindles.

Yeah, I think they cranked the torsion bars and re-aligned it from there. That's the only way I can see getting 2" of lift. Does it ride any different?

very good point. i bet that is it. didnt think about the SS trucks having the tb front suspension.

that's the only explanation for it raising back up 2"...at least, that i can think of.

the issue is he has a torsion bar setup up front and the alignment guy more than likely cranked the torsions to get everything back into specs thus he lost some of his drop.
