When i read this thread i went and checked on mine, well the stupid C looking braces were almost falling out, so i welded then to the flat bracket that the Ubolt goes threw, then i cut down the spacers inbetween the rubber gromets to about 1.25 inches... The sway bar sits nice and level now, it was pointing downwards... Here are a few pics.
I still need to do a little adjustments on the back brackets to get them more inline and I have to fab up some new exhaust cause the end links were hitting it... I wanted to do some new exhaust anyways...

I think your sway bar is upside down, on mine, the sway bar contour follows the diff housing(pointing down).

Really? Well if i remember the instruction did not say, I think i found a post of another member's sway bar and that is why i mounted it like that. Oh well i don't think it makes a difference...

Also your swaybar shouldn't be mounting on the rear of the axle, it should be on the bottom or underside of the axle. This will allow you access to the cover bolts and also not make the end links go out at an angle. You'll see
