Oh crap ok yeah I knew they were bigger but by how much didnt know. I was just thinking bout it for the extra gears an all seeing as no one really has done anything about swapping one of those new 6 speed trans out of the new trucks.

An Allison won't clear the body floor pan. You would need a body lift or cut out and reshape your floor.

I wouldnt reccomend an Allison for a " small " gas engine or racing.

They would require more power to operate than your standard 60-80E

They are designed for towing and heavy ,labor, not racing.

They are expensive to build, i have 4300 in mine .

Tq converters are 1300 for a good one.

They use a stand alone computer, wiring it in wouldnt be easy but could be done.

They are awesome for a 3/4 ton Diesel/ big block truck, not a 1/2 ton gas truck.

Internals are very heavy due to how they are designed to operate and this does not lead to a good combo for Gas engine due to the fact they dont like high RPM.
